Charlotte – Owner/Founder of Travelbee & Arctic Direct
“I started Travelbee, the parent company of Arctic Direct, back in 2004. I wanted to travel to the Arctic but there weren’t many trips available and the ones I found just weren’t for me. I was looking for a unique experience but the packages offered to me were a bit bland. So I decided to go into business creating some real Arctic adventures.
Whilst there are more competitors now than when we first started, we are still the specialists in this area. I have personally tried and tested almost all the tours we sell, and so has my knowledgeable team, so you can book with confidence knowing that our recommendations are based on first-hand experience.
Our customers prefer working with a company that will go the extra mile for them and we pride ourselves on our customer service. With us, you won’t be passed around from one salesperson to another. Because we’re a small team we’re able to deliver a bespoke experience, tailoring everything to your requirements. And, if there’s a problem when you’re away, we’ll do everything we possibly can to put it right for you. Hannah – Head of Sales and Office Manager
I love putting together the perfect bucket list trip for our customers and I can’t wait to see their photos when they get back. Since joining the Travelbee team in 2017, I’ve had the opportunity to visit lots of the resorts we work with – Arctic Snow Hotel in Finland and ICEHOTEL in Sweden are some of my very favourite places. As well as sales, I also look after business development and make sure the office runs like clockwork.
I joined Travelbee in August 2022 after having my son and wanted to take a dive into something new, I had never thought about a holiday in the snow before working here! I have since been promoted to Supervisor and work alongside the admin team to ensure all our bookings are smooth sailing and there are no hiccups along the way. I support our guests by either phone or email and am always on hand to answer any queries.

Jess – Admin
I joined Arctic Direct in July 2024 as part of the Admin team. I work closely with the team to ensure all bookings are accurate and our guests have everything they need for a seamless holiday experience. I also look after the company’s social media, keeping our content fresh and up to date. I enjoy exploring new places and look forward to travelling more in the future.

Amber – Sales
I joined the Arctic Direct team in 2023 as part of Admin. I moved onto sales and have now been to Norway (Including Svalbard) and Finland. I really love learning about anything Arctic related and I’m probably going to be just as excited about your trip as you are! My favourite Arctic experience would be seeing orcas on a whale watching trip in Tromso. The picture to the left is taken on my first FAM trip to Norway.

Karon – Accounts and Finance
Karon has responsibility for making sure the books balance and everything adds up. She’s only in the office part time but her skills are essential to making sure that our finances are up to date and our reporting for ATOL licencing is accurate.
