The Wilderness Hotel Nangu is a beautiful resort in the north-east of Finland. The closest town to this resort is Ivalo. Nangu is situated 13 miles north of Ivalo and it’s airport. Which results in a 20 min drive from the airport to the resort. The resort is built right by the Lake Inari. A truly unique aspect of this resort is their Aurora Huts which are built upon the lakeshore. Sleep above the frozen lake in the winter months or the floating river in the summertime.
During the winter the Wilderness Hotel Nangu is an adult-only resort. This makes it the perfect destination for romantic getaways or business trips. When summer arrives the doors are open for families as well.

The Lake Inari Aurora Huts offer amazing views upon the lake as well as the sky. The Aurora Huts features a glass roof as well as a glass front, so you don’t miss out on anything. Build upon the seashore they are an unique accommodation. There is no running water in this hut. However, everything including a sauna is located in the nearby main building.

Snowmobile Safari 2 hours
Your guide will teach you everything you need to know before heading off into the Arctic wilderness on your Snowmobile. This activity lets you enjoy getting around just like the Finns do.
Aurora Camp 2.5 hours
Go on a venture for the Northern Lights on Lake Inari. One of the few places with zero light pollution. These ideal circumstances will enhance your chances to see the Northern Lights. Your guide will pull you along on a snowmobile sleigh. This enables you to keep your eyes in the sky for the entirety of your excursion.
Aurora Snowshoeing 2.5 hours
Head to the wintry forest by foot. Look out for the Northern Lights as well as the Arctic wildlife. The guide will lead you along Nangu woods and Lake Inari towards a campsite. At the campsite, you can relax and gaze at the starry sky – which is hopefully filled with dancing Northern Lights.
