What our customers say

Such a wonderful trip! Well - organised and as a customer, so straight forward from the booking process through to receiving the documents needed for our travels. Staff were all polite, knowledgeable and helpful, both the sales team I first dealt with, to the enthusiastic members of the team at the resort.
The visit was all I could have wished for and more! A very cliche phrase but definitely "well worth the money".

Ice Hotels In Finland
What do you associate the Arctic with? Snow, fjords, low temperatures, the Northern Lights, glaciers… ice? If ice and/or snow was in your mind, you definitely do not want to miss out on staying at an ice hotel whilst you are visiting the Arctic.
Ice hotels have become prominent tourist attractions since the emergence of the world’s first ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi, north of Sweden. Now you can find ice hotels in other countries within the Arctic Circle, including Norway and Finland.
Ice hotels are popular for their mystical interiors, with structures and sculptures made of ice, including your very own bed. Don’t expect to sleep directly on a bed of ice, though, as you will be provided with warm and cosy sleeping bags and pillows to keep you comfortable during the night.
How to prepare for sleeping in an ice hotel in Finland
Ice hotels are not your average hotel, so it is a good idea to come prepared for a night at an ice hotel. Here are a few tips we have compiled to help you get ready for your one-night stay at a majestic ice hotel:
- Wear appropriate clothing – ice hotels are colder than your normal hotel to maintain the ice architecture, so pack suitable attire such as a thick coat, layers of clothing, socks, gloves, and even a hat or scarf. Although there are heated areas, your hotel room will most likely be maintained at cold temperatures.
- Use the toilet before going to bed – unlike standard hotel rooms with an ensuite, ice hotels have a separate bathroom facility that is usually outside of the ice hotel. This means that you should use the toilet before bed to avoid having to get up in the middle of the night and trek towards the other building to use the toilet.
- Bring a sleeping mask – Whilst the snow is bright most icehotels have lights you can switch off so tend not to be bright at night.
Finland
Finland is considered the happiest country in the world, followed by Nordic countries, Denmark, and Iceland. Since 2018, Finland has ranked first in the World Happiness Report, showcasing how the country has exceptional service and care for its people, and this hospitality extends to tourists.
There is a wide range of activities to do when in Finland that also make it a prime location for Arctic holidays. Rugged mountains and remarkable nature can be found in Vuokatti, where you can observe the Finnish wilderness, and possibly even spot some bears. Meanwhile, if you are a husky lover, you will surely love a husky-filled winter adventure on the fringes of Lapland.
