And now we have made a trip to ICEHOTEL even more spectacular by combining it with a stay in your own private Aurora Hut on the Torne River. The Torne River is one of Sweden’s national rivers and last untouched waters. Blocks of ice are carved from the Torne River each year to create the ICEHOTEL in a new guise every winter and the hotel melts back into the river in the spring.
By staying in a Torne River Aurora Hut, you will not only experience a unique type of accommodation, but you are also uninterrupted by any light pollution giving you some of the best views of the Northern Lights.

Day 1

Fly to Kiruna via Stockholm. All baggage, fees and taxes included
Meet and greet with your guide before transfer to the wilderness camp
At the Northern lights camp check into your Aurora pod.
Evening meal at the Riverside Dining Cabin
Night in Aurora Pod

Day 2

Following breakfast depart on a 4.5 hour husky safari. Learn how to drive a husky sledge and set out into the forest with a dog team one between two. One person drives and the other sits and can enjoy the view and take pictures – there is opportunity to swap drivers along the way. At the end of the tour you stop for a hot drink and cinnamon bun, with time to also ask questions and cuddle the puppies!

Day 3

After breakfast it’s time for a Snowmobile Safari – with 2 people sharing a snowmobile one can drive and the other can enjoy the ride. There is possibility to swap drivers along the journey. During the trip there is a stop for lunch and the guide will be keeping watch to see if there are any moose or reindeer that can be spotted.

Following the trip transfer to Ice Hotel

Check in to the ICEHOTEL and enjoy having a look around the Art Suites and Hotel. Night in an ice room in the hotel – ask about upgrades to an Art Room or Suite.

Day 4

After breakfast, enjoy some free time before your transfer to Kiruna Airport to catch your flight home.
